Inclusion Task Force

The Inclusion Task Force is a combination of child care providers, service providers, and some parents that are working together to make sure that all children have a place to be included.

The Inclusion Task Force meets once a month to discuss the issues that are affecting Manatee County in regards to child care inclusion. The task force discusses specials needs that a child may need for a learning or behavioral issue. They also discuss the necessary steps participating child care centers must take to benefit all children, perhaps by training staff in new procedures and techniques. In addition the the agencies and child care centers report on what is going on with their children or center. This allows all participating parties to benefit from group experiences.

The Inclusion Task Force meets once a month to discuss the issues of inclusion in Manatee County. Meetings are run in a round table fashion where a different member of the task force facilitates the meeting each month.
