What Is? - Resource and Referral
Resource and Referral is a free service available to anyone that is seeking child care and early education services. We provide families with referrals to child care providers and early education programs that are customized to meet their needs. Resource Connection for Kids maintains a database of all legal providers in Manatee County that can pull a list of providers based on the criteria that a specific client is looking for.
When referrals are given to families, they include such information as hours of operation, cost, fees, curriculum, and transportation. Because the database pulls based on specific information, we are constantly updating our systems with the latest information from the various providers. This will insure that prospective clients have the most current, up to date information.
There are no charges or fees associated with referrals to your provider. If you are asked to provide a payment for referral, please call the Agency for Workforce Innovation-Office of Early Learning, Child Care Resource & Referral Network Office at 1-866-357-3239.
