Parents, it is that time of year again. With the summer months fast approaching, it is time to think about what your children are going to do next school year. If your child is 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2008 the answer is easy. Enroll them in the Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten program.
Vital Program Details
- WHO is Eligible: All children 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2008
- WHAT is VPK: A program designed to promote early literacy and prepare Florida's children for Kindergarten
- WHEN: Programs are available for Fall '08 (Aug/Sept - May/June) or Summer '09 (May-August)
- WHERE: Programs are available at various public/private school site, licensed & licensed/exempt childcare center, and licensed family child care homes.
