VPK Summer 2008
Parents, did your child attend Voluntary PreKindergarten during the 2007-2008 school year? If not, then they may be eligible to enroll in the Summer VPK program. If your child did attend a VPK program and completed less than 54 hours they are also eligible for Summer VPK.
Vital Program Details
- WHO is Eligible: All children 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2007 and completed less than 54 hours in a VPK program during the 2007-2008 school year
- WHAT is VPK: A 300 hour program designed to promote early literacy and prepare Florida's children for Kindergarten
- WHEN: May to August 2008 (Schedules may vary)
- WHERE: Programs are available at various public/private school site, licensed & licensed/exempt childcare center, and licensed family child care homes.
- WHY: Opportunity to provide a quality education for your child...for FREE!
